Grandparents play an important role in the lives of every child. Children share a special bond with their grandpa and grandma. The grandparents are family’s greatest treasure. Through their special love and care, they keep a family close to heart.
To honour them, Manava Bharati India International School, primary section (PG-II) celebrated grand parent’s day on 26th Feb 2019. The function started with Sanskrit shloka followed by poems, dance, speech and drama by the students. The little ones stole everyone’s heart by their loving performances.
To make the day more memorable for the grandparents, we had organized games and many more events like talent hunt, best dressed grandpa and grandma contest. The grandparents participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
They shared their experiences and praised the hard work of the teachers and the management for organizing the event. Later the winner grandparents were greeted with gifts. The students were really thrilled to see their grandparents participating and enjoying the day.
The chief guest of the program Mr. Praveen Dhyani appreciated the team work of the teachers, students and the special guest of the occasion the grandparents. Overall it was a successful event indeed, and the school as always would be pleased to organize many such more events.
