Manava Bharati India International School solemnized a cultural show ‘Rang Himalaya as part of cultural exchange programme to celebrate diversity and earth fellowship among all generations.

Rang Himalaya is a festival aimed at strengthening intercultural relationships and empowering people by engaging them in creative endeavors. The festival is organized jointly by Avikal – Initiative for life and active learning and Nanhi Duniya – The Inter cultural movement of children.

Mrs. Usha Negi ,The President of Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Brig. K.G. Bhel , Dr. S Farooq, Dr. Himanshu Shekhar (The Director MBIIS ), Mr. Rajeev Singhal (The Principal), Mr. Sushil Kumar (The Director of Prayas IAS Academy) and other distinguished dignitaries presided over the event.

 

The colorful festival started with a welcome speech by Alok Ulfat, Founder of Rang Himalaya. A variety of programmes including All- Faith- Prayer, Folk songs ,Dances, Role play and Musical performances were staged.

The activities at the festivals were aimed at broadening social ,cultural and environmental awareness and give everyone a sense of holistic life and social responsibility . . Jain community, Hari Om Ashram , Christian community ,Muslim and Sikh community ,Nanhi duniya ,Raphael school, Vibration Dance Studio, Manava Bharati School and volunteers of Avikal Studio participated in the festival.

Then , our Principal ,Mr. Rajeev Singhal, proposed a vote of thanks . The event concluded with the National Anthem.
It was a day to remember .
